What Heliotempo provides

Heliotempo offers free calculators, maps, charts and articles about the position of the sun, daylight and sunlight. The information is provided for general information, planning and education.

The calculations are made carefully and tested, but they are based on models and assumptions, such as a flat sea-level horizon, standard atmospheric refraction, simplified shapes of buildings and trees, and typical weather averaged by latitude for solar estimates. Real conditions can differ. Heliotempo is not intended for navigation, aviation, safety-critical, legal or financial decisions. For such purposes, use official sources and qualified professionals.

The website and its content are provided “as is”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. The website may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time.
